Malaguti brings one of its most successful models up to date to meet the demanding Euro5. And it does it without losing an iota of its power and preserving manageability and adaptation to the environment which he has always made use of.
It's about the Malaguti Dune 125, a trail model that can be driven both with the validation of the car license (after three years) and with the A1 that stands out for its enormous versatility, low consumption and excellent performance.
Malaguti Dune 125: ready for any occasion
Malaguti has decided to update one of the most successful motorcycles in its catalog. It's about the Malaguti Dune 125, a motorcycle designed for those who want to get closer to the trail world but without giving up a possible daily use. Among its best assets are the enormous reliability of its engine, now adapted to the demanding Euro5, and its contained consumption.
Aesthetically it stands out for having raised wheel arches, a small screen that will help us protect ourselves from the air at high speeds and a small cargo area at the rear where we can put a trunk.
As we said, its engine has been mechanically adapted to meet the demanding Euro5. Like its sister, the DuneX features a water-cooled, four-stroke single-cylinder powerplant capable of developing a 13.4 hp power and 10.5 Nm of torque. In addition, it stands out for its frugal consumption of 3.1 liters per 100 kilometers that will help us both on small off-road trips and on a day-to-day basis.
Regarding its cycle part, this Malaguti Dune 125 has a double cradle steel chassis, with a telescopic suspension fork conventional on the front and a monoshock on the rear coupled to the swingarm. For its braking, it uses brake discs that measure 280 mm at the front and 218 mm at the rear. Both with ABS system that will provide inexperienced hands with greater safety.
Another characteristic that stands out with respect to the DuneX 125 is that it has an 18-inch front rim instead of its sister's 21, differentiating one from the other as this is an asphalt-style trail rather than an off-road one. That if, with a content weight 130 kg escapes through rough terrain are not bad either, offering good agility and greater control to the rider. The seat height only rises to 790 mm, making it an ideal motorcycle for any type of height.
Configurable in two different colors, white with gray and red details or gray with black and red details, you can get one Malaguti Dune 125 for 3,599 euros. Plus, the first year of insurance is free.
