After the presentation of the MV Agusta F3 Rosso last week, MV Agusta premiered this past Thursday the documentary "You See a Bike" in which it pays tribute to people who are essential to the development and history of the brand, as well as offering a different vision of this company.
The 50-minute film focuses on a number of key figures within the MV Agusta group. What is not seen is the new MV Agusta F4 and therefore does not confirm the rumors that appeared in many media simultaneously to the trailer of this interesting documentary.
A documentary that delves into the passion of MV Agusta
Much expectation has left this documentary behind, partly generated the belief that this audiovisual celebration would be the initiating process of the presentation of a new MV Agusta F4. This supercar in its latest version did not even pass the Euro 4 homologation, but it did leave many fans of the brand wanting more.
Various events could trigger these rumors such as the very title "You See a Bike" and that you will not fully understand if you do not see the movie. Another incendiary rumor event was the staging of the last MV Agusta Rush and its remodeling Euro 5 208hp four cylinder that fits perfectly into the specs of an F4.
Be that as it may, what has appeared on the scene is the documentary which deals with the passion and motivation behind each MV Agusta motorcycle and how the people involved and external to this process understand that the brand wants to transmit with each model.
The main thread of this is the creation of motorcycles in the MV Agusta factory. Personal, thoughtful and honest, the 50 minute film is an intimate narrative about a brand told through external and indirect perspectives as well as interesting facts and images about the celebration of its 75th anniversary in 2020 with the special and ultra exclusive MV Agusta Superveloce 75th Anniversary of which the only 75 units were sold in just 2:40 minutes since the reservations were opened, quite a feat considering that it is a 25,000 euro motorcycle.
In this way, they introduce us to all the steps that a model takes and to what extent it is observed with a magnifying glass by the responsible members at the Varese headquarters, thus forming part of this story. From the creation of the brand in 1923 by Count Giovanni Agusta to the acquisition by Cagiva in 1991 and its subsequent start-up again as a manufacturer, MV Agusta has been a special brand and this is a small summary of why.
A video featuring people invited to share anecdotes about his relationship with motorcycling and not necessarily about MV Agusta. These chosen ones give a highly relevant testimony, such as Giacomo Agostini, who is an institution for the brand or the versatile Horacio Pagani, creator of the fastest car in production for a while. Also others like the DJ and producer Carl Cox and even some responsible for Milestone, the creators of the Ride game. Not forgetting people totally from the house like the CEO of the brand Timur Sardarov or the photographer Gigi Soldano.
Despite not having a new F4 yet, we can kill the bug with audiovisuals until they decide to release a new supercar. And as they say here, a motorcycle is never just a motorcycle and to find out what is behind this, it is advisable to watch this video, which is, after all, a document that you cannot ignore if you really like motorcycles.
