KTM 1290 Super Duke GT and 1290 Super Duke R: Adrenaline as a couple or alone

The more road-going Super Duke now sports a new front end with a new LED headlight derived from the Super Duke R, a taller screen with better aerodynamic protection and tool-less dimming capability and a slimmer redesigned upper cowl that still integrates headlamps for cornering lighting. On the sides of the tank, the fairing parts now include small cargo compartments, one of them with USB.

Behind this front we find a new dashboard 6.5 inch fully digital TFT with more information and in a more comfortable position so you don't have to take your eyes off the road so much and includes the KTM My Ride connectivity system. Also new are the hand guards, which are now standard on this model, as are the heated grips.

The engine is the same two-cylinder in vee at 75º, an LC8 of 1,301 cubic centimeters that is capable of developing the overwhelming figures of 175 hp and 141 Nm of torque thanks to the introduction of changes such as titanium intake valves, new resonance chambers and a tight injection mapping.

The electronics It has been updated to offer a more sedate feel at low revs for a more refined character while the Quickshifter + will make the driver forget about the clutch both up and down.

The Super Duke GT's digital brain, which previously featured electronic throttle, drive modes, traction control and ABS with anti-lock corner assist, now also incorporates the Track mode to be able to reduce electronic aids to a minimum and enjoy your driving on the track to the maximum.

The semi-active WP suspensions anchored to the steel multitubular chassis they also receive new parameters to adapt in real time to the needs of each moment. The system itself varies the suspension settings depending on the pace, the load we carry or the selected driving mode (Comfort, Street and Sport).
