The event held in Poland was not the most peaceful for the riders of the SMGP World Championship. Under very difficult weather conditions that left the circuit soaked for Sunday morning. For everyone it was a complicated drink but especially for Thomas chareyre who saw how he lost some invaluable points.
The winner, with a new double, has been Mauno hermunen who now leads with authority the general classification with 24 points of advantage over the current World Champion. His escorts on the podium have been Devon vermeulen with a great performance and the eternal Ivan Lazzarini.
Mauno Hermunen takes advantage of Thomas Chareyre's puncture

After the intense temperatures experienced on Saturday, the skies opened at dawn on Sunday, leaving the pilots unable to use the off-road part of the circuit. On departure Mauno hermunen he took the holeshot but was quickly overtaken by Lukas Hoellbacher and Thomas Chareyre until they both went to the ground on lap three.
So the leader of the general classification returned to the front of the test and thanks to a good dose of smooth handling and confidence, the Finn won an "easy" victory. Behind him things were a little more complicated with Ivan Lazzarini, Asseri Kingelin, Devo Vermeulen and Teo Monticelli fighting for podium positions separated by a second.

Finally the one who took the cat to the water was Lazzarini by taking advantage of the errors of Hoellbacher and Chareyre and taking a little distance. Although Vermeulen overtook him halfway through the race, it would only be temporary and the Italian was able to cross the finish line in second position. Vermeulen for his part, he would finish third with a good cushion of seconds.
