The limited editions They are always priced well in the second-hand market and if we are talking about motorcycles from brands like Norton, at least the one we knew until a few months ago, then collectors and lovers of these frames will not want to let them get away.
This time it is a Norton Domiracer, of which only 50 pieces were sold upon its arrival in the world in 2014, coinciding with the time when the British firm was in the hands of Stuart garner, who has finally failed to keep it afloat after taking command of it in 2009.
This Norton Domiracer is number 46 of the 50 built
For many it was a dream that the centennial Norton returned to its British origins in 2009, after it fell into American hands in the 90s. Hence, a great value has been placed on Garner's work in recent years, although we already know how it all ended and that TVS Motor is the new owner of it.
Perhaps now is a good time to auction or put on sale units like this Norton Domiracer, which was part of a very limited circulation six years ago, a model with a marked air of Cafe racer and a precious collector's item.
Precisely, it incorporates the 961cc twin-cylinder engine and offers a performance of no more than 80 hp, a block that he borrowed from the Norton Commando 961 and that as you know, Stuart Garner sold his entire being to the giant Jinlang to try to save Norton's furniture.
The Norton Domiracer has high quality elements finished in carbon fiber and with high performance components like an inverted fork signed by Öhlins and Brembo brakes. Being number 46, she was one of the last to come out of the Norton furnaces.
It is now on sale for just over 67,400 euros to the currency exchange, a cost that exceeds the slightly less than 30,000 euros that the current owner would have to pay, who has only used the motorcycle in exhibitions and the occasional track day. You can see more details in We Sell Classic Bikes.
