Since it appeared years ago, Quadro has been characterized by seeking an alternative to urban mobility but always trying to offer a plus of security to users who see conventional motorcycles as unsafe when riding.

With that same mentality, the now Swiss brand has presented what is its latest creation, the QOODER. This new tilting four-wheel motorcycle aims to be a benchmark in terms of combining the feel and agility of motorcycles with the stability of cars, also updating in terms of technology.

The electric version and the connectivity system, main novelties of the QOODER

The QOODER is the direct heir to previous Quadro models, especially the Quadro4, their four-wheeled motorcycle. Keeping the concept of HTS system (Hydraulic Tilting System) which allows you to lean while always keeping all four wheels on the asphalt, the QOODER has evolved to keep up with the times.

This tilt system is complemented by the structural single arm parallelogram suspension, looking for good stability without losing the agility that a motorcycle should have. In addition, seeking as much comfort as possible when driving it, the QOODER also incorporates double axle for reduce vibrations how annoying they can be.

If we look inside, the QOODER equips a 400 cc engine offering 32.5 hp of power, a figure that may seem a bit low for a motorcycle of this weight but it is sure that it allows a fluid ride without major inconveniences. This engine is responsible for moving the two rear wheels, also having a differential that helps maintain safety in curves.

Quadro targets sustainable mobility

However, the most relevant thing about the new Quadro is that in 2019 we will have a zero emission version thanks to an electric motorization. This model will have the name of E-QOODER and according to its designers, it will have an autonomy of between 130 km and 260 km. Its electric motor will give 106 Nm of torque and 34 kW of power.

Likewise, in Quadro they have wanted to give a more technological touch to their electric models, which will incorporate a connectivity system. This system has been developed by the Route220 company, whose EVWAY app will help users to have more control and information about their motorcycle.
