Yesterday, bikes from the MotoGP World Championship returned to tread the mythical Jarama Circuit. However, far from doing it to shoot as many nostalgic people would have liked, they did it so that everyone could discover the colors and the project with which the Team Estrella Galicia 0, 0 will face the 2018 season.
The Madrid circuit was the scene of the debut of what will be one of the structures bigger and more complete within the competition, since it will be present in different categories and championships from the RFME CEV to the MotoGP World Championship through the FIM CEV Repsol.
A bet for the future with a very promising present

Emilio Alzamora and Michael Bartholemy they were the protagonists of a brief talk in which they spoke above all about the focus of the sports project. With a clear thought of generating continuity from the lower categories to MotoGP, the union of Monlau and Marc VDS is bearing fruit and each year it extends more and in different championships.
The structure's quarry is made up of the teams that will participate in the RFME Spanish Speed Championship in the category of Moto4 and the teams that will do the same at the FIM CEV Repsol, where they will have representation in Moto3 and in the European Talent Cup.

Already in the Moto3 World Championship, those in charge of wearing the colors of Estrella Galicia will be Aaron Canet and Alonso López. While for López it is his first year in the World Cup, for Canet this 2018 is his best opportunity to win the title.
Despite being very ambiguous when setting out his goals for this year, the reality is that both for the team and for the Valencian driver only victory is worth. To achieve this, for another year they will have the experience and help of Julian Simon, who will be in the box as an advisor.

Already in the Moto2 category, Alex Marquez He was much more forceful in assessing his goals, openly acknowledging that finishing the season with the title under his arm is what he wants. This year he is considered one of the top candidates for the title and after the good preseason he has completed, he feels strong for the assault.
Despite this, the youngest of the Márquez also acknowledged being aware that in the intermediate category the level is very high and that with the arrival of pilots such as Lowes and Barberá to which are added those already established in the category, winning will be a complicated mission. For this, Márquez is aware that he has to improve in some points, such as in managing the pressure and in managing his chances at each Grand Prix.

On the other side of the box will be Joan Mir, which faces a new challenge this year. After his spectacular performance last year, the Balearic rider arrives at Moto2 with a lot to learn but feeling very comfortable about his new partner. Mir has made progress every time he has gone out on the track with his Kalex, so he hopes to start the year in Qatar inside the top 15 and from there, improve their positions race after race.
The two big stars of the event were Franco Morbidelli and Thomas Luthi, who after being great rivals last year now share a box in MotoGP. For Morbidelli, the preseason has been quite positive, achieving good results especially in the last tests in Qatar. Still, the Brazilian rider confirmed what other Honda riders have been saying for a long time, that your RC213V is a very unintuitive motorcycle and that makes learning difficult.

In a different position he is Thomas luthi, who missed the first tests of 2017 due to injury and, as a consequence, has a disadvantage in his adaptation. Comparing it to other category changes he has completed in his 16 years in the World Championship, Luthi acknowledged that the move from Moto2 to MotoGP is the most difficult and radical of his career.
After coming out, the Moto2 and Moto3 structures have one more test in Jerez before the season begins. On the Andalusian circuit, the members of Team Estrella Galicia will try to reach the highest possible level before the Qatar Grand Prix except for mir, that he is not 100% physically and that he has chosen to recover better.
