Today they are fulfilled 35 years since the death of Elvis Presley, the King of Rock who was also passionate about motorcycles. At the time we already dedicated an entry in Motorpasión Moto in which we discussed the curious way that the King of Rock had fun riding a motorcycle with his friends near Graceland. Today, on this anniversary, and thanks to Visordown we can dismantle another urban myth that circulates on the web.
This myth says that a while ago some guys bought a Harley Davidson for a few dollars and when they began to restore it they discovered under the seat the signature of Elvis Presley. This could have immediately turned any motorcycle into a highly valued piece, it is nothing more than that, an urban myth. Because it seems that Elvis Presley's motorcycles are quite controlled, even the 1956 KH Harley Davidson that you see in this post. A motorcycle that bought the King for $ 903 of the time and that now lives in the Harley Davidson museum exhibited along with the documentation papers that prove its ownership.
This myth may one day become a reality, but it just won't happen to me.
