The current leaders of the Spanish Speed Championship in the Moto2 and Moto3 categories, Jordi Torres and Álex Márquez, they will have a permanent place in the remainder of the season of the MotoGP World Championship. Both Jordi Torres and Álex Márquez will be lined up in the Indianapolis Grand Prix to be held next week.
Jordi Torres, after being presented as a guest at the Catalan Grand Prix and last year for ten races replacing the injured Julito Simón in the Mapfre Aspar Team Moto2, will occupy the position left vacant by Toni Elías. He will have the advantage of knowing the bike, Suter, but he will have to adapt again to the Dunlop tires of the world championship, very different from the Michelin ones with which the CEV is run.
For its part, Alex Marquez has earned a free place in the world championship after racing as a guest rider in Jerez, Portugal and Catalunya and having scored points in all three races (13th, 15th and sixth respectively). His biggest problem is adapting quickly to the circuits since practically all of them are unknown to him.
Álex will join the ranks of the Ambrogio Next Racing replacing one of its two riders, Giulian Pedone and Simone Grotzkjy, riding a Suter Honda after the team started the season with Oral.
