In mid-September the first photos of the Honda CBR500R and CB500, Honda's latest bet for the medium-displacement segment. Today we can finally see some more decent photos thanks to Claudio Lattanzio. The best thing is that there is another model that we did not know anything about, but that could be a Honda CB500X, a little sister of the Honda Crosstourer or the Honda NC700X. The technical data tells that it will be a motor Parallel twin with DOHC cylinder heads that cubes almost half a liter and is around the 47 hp (35 kW). With a torque close to 40 Nm, liquid cooling, a six-speed gearbox and weights close to 200 kg. But all this is yet to be officially confirmed.
Looking at the photos in more detail we find that the CBR500R doesn't look like it's going to be an extreme sports carBut something more utilitarian with raised handlebars and low footpegs. And the one that we are going to call Honda CB500X It appears to be a scaled version of the NC700X, but nothing else.
