Yes, it is the old logo but after so many years we have not improved
The Audiovisual Council of Catalonia, also known as CAC, has requested the Ministry of Industry to initiate the necessary legal action due to what he considers a violation of the General Audiovisual Communication Law (LGCA) by private channels Telecinco and Antena 3 during the broadcasts of the MotoGP and Formula 1 Grand Prix respectively.
The LGCA dictates that in the case of soccer matches, for example, breaks can be made to broadcast advertising whenever the game is stopped. In the case of motorcycle and car races, advertising can be shown during it but forever split screen.
However, both chains have violated these laws since both one and the other have inserted full screen advertising so that they have cut off the normal course of retransmission, as stated in Article 14, Section 4, of the LGCA.
As an example, in the MotoGP German Grand Prix there were even seven commercial breaks of between one and five minutes while the races were being contested. On the other hand, it seems that, according to the CAC, Article 14, Section 3, which requires overimpression of a sign indicating that it is an advertising location is also violated and avoid confusing the viewer.
As if that were not enough, the Audiovisual Council of Catalonia has also denounced the malpractice that Telecinco takes place during your advertising breaks. The split screen must be such that the larger frame belongs to the sports broadcast but the private channel shows two identical screens and unnecessary data about the circuit at the bottom, so that in theory most of the television is showing career information when in practice it is not.
¿Will get somewhere the request of the CAC to the Ministry of Industry? Where is the so-called Self-control body that according to their own advertising they work so that advertising is truthful, legal, honest and loyal?
