The second day of practice at the Jerez Circuit on the occasion of the Spanish Grand Prix of the MotoGP World Championship It has left us three Spaniards at the top of the general classification and that tomorrow they will start from the front row of the grid. Although the weather was quite unstable During the Moto3 and MotoGP session, at the end he gave a little respite and the riders were able to take risks and use slick tires to get the fastest time.
On Moto3 The fastest was the very young Estrella Galicia 0, 0 rider and current Champion of Spain, Alex Rins, who in a masterful play along with his teammates entered the pits in the absence of five minutes and risked putting dry tires when the rest rolled with hairy ones. On MotoGP, Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing) has taken the pulse that he has maintained throughout the session with Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) and in Moto2, Marc Márquez (Catalunya Caixa Repsol) had a very good end of timed practice to win pole.
Moto3: Alex Rins hits the right tire at the key moment

Very difficult was the timed session of the category of Moto3 Since it started with the track completely wet but little by little it dried up, although not enough. In this way, the water tires were degrading very quickly and putting slicks was too risky.
Five minutes to go and with a motorcycle dance in the box, each team's strategy came into play. Maverick Viñales (Blusens Avintia) came out of the pits with a new rain game but the Star Galicia 0, 0 decided that his pilots, Alex Rins and Miguel Ángel Oliveira come out with smooth. The same as Sandro Cortese (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and as you could see, it was the right decision since first the Portuguese got the best time for a few moments to immediately snatch it from him. Alex Rins with a 1'57,507. Sandro Cortese finally he was second between the two teammates, just twelve thousandths behind the Spaniard.
Isaac viñales (Ongetta-Centro Seta) has been the second best Spaniard, in seventh position while Maverick Viñales He will start tomorrow from ninth position, having finished a second and a half ahead of the race today, although these times do not tell the truth due to the difficult track conditions and the difference in the choice of tires.

MotoGP: duel between Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa that the Mallorcan takes

The pilots of MotoGP They then came out with more or less clear ideas regarding tires after seeing their Moto3 teammates but with an idea in mind: make a fast lap as soon as possible so that in case it rained again, they would not be caught by the bull. And indeed the forecast is almost fulfilled because when Cal crutchlow I was at the top of the classification, the drops began to fall on the Jerez asphalt.
But it was only a small warning that took away the confidence of some and reinforced that of others, such as that of Jorge Lorenzo, who had taken things very calmly and at that moment risked to place fifth, for what could happen. However, it would not have been necessary because again the track dried up and from there we witnessed a give and take between the Mallorcan and Dani Pedrosa in which they were snatching the provisional pole lap by lap.
In the end, Jorge Lorenzo had the best time, 1'39,532, slightly more than one tenth faster than Dani pedrosa. Third a surprising Nicky hayden that life should definitely be playing but more than a second from the Yamaha rider. And Casey Stoner? Well surprisingly fifth, behind Cal Crutchlow who once again did some good training. The Australian has not managed to improve his times and we do not know where the problem is, if on his motorcycle or in his arms because the differences were accentuated as soon as the track began to dry.
And if yesterday we said that some CRT was going to give a scare As soon as the conditions were not perfect, not even 24 hours have passed and Randy de Puniet (Power Electronics Aspar) has had the privilege of putting his ART in tenth position, 2,168 from the head and ahead of Karel Abraham (Cardion AB Motoracing), Héctor Barberá (Pramac Racing Team) and Valentino Rossi (Ducati Team) who has MotoGP qualifying closed at almost three and a half seconds.

Moto2: Marc Márquez demonstrates his leadership status

Although Marc Márquez (Team CatalunyaCaixa Repsol) has remained calm during much of the timed practice session of the Moto2 category, at the end has demonstrated its leadership status of the general classification and chaining a series of fast laps he has placed himself at the top of the general classification, thus obtaining pole for tomorrow's race.
Takaaki nakagami (Italtrans Racing Team) the Japanese in whom the eastern journalists have all their hopes, as we heard Dennis Noyes during the broadcast, did some very good training sessions with a second position eighty thousandths behind the Spanish. Third has been also Spanish Pol Espargaro (Pons 40 HP Tuenti) that improved his time in the last moments.
Thomas Luthi (Interwetten-Paddock) was finally fourth to three tenths while Johan zarco (JIR Moto2), who you have to have take into account if it rains tomorrowToday on the dry track he set the tenth fastest time, almost one second.
