Marc Márquez will not be present at the Cheste Circuit test

Very recently we commented on these pages that our Moto2 rider, Marc Márquez, was operated and recovered favorably of the injuries that have had him in check during the final stretch of last season. The first tests and free practice sessions of the Moto2 category are scheduled for next week's eight, nine and ten at the Cheste circuit in Valencia, but in a brief press release, its sponsor, Repsol, communicates to the media that Marc Márquez will not be present in Cheste for the first tests.

Marc Márquez was intervened at the Ophthalmological Institute of the Hospital Clínico de Barcelona and continues to recover with a positive evolution of his vision problems. It is hoped that he can return soon and may be ready but his team has chosen to be prudent and not rush things the first training session of the year. A bit of bad luck for our great World Cup rider with a rare injury in the arena of the Grand Prix. Hopefully it won't take long for him to fight his Moto2 again.
