Last month I brought you a video of the curious Red Marley competition, which takes place in England, which consists of making an "impossible climb" with classic motorcycles. Today reviewing the VOROMV blog I have once again come across a spectacular video of a Hill Climbing test, or impossible climb, or climbing the hill, or whatever you want to call it. But it is one of those videos that makes you not look away for a moment if you do not miss something.
Also as Miguel says: "How beautiful is Hill Climbing … when it is not you or your motorcycle who participate" and really as you can see in the video below, it is very sad to see roll down the hill certain motorcycles. Although the 2011 video of the test that takes place in the Belgian city of St.Vith, I like the 2010 edition much more, which is the one that I bring you and of course I would gladly pay the ten Euros that the entrance is worth, to see these authentic braves fight against the mountain live.
As you can see, there are participants with motorcycles of all kinds. From dirt bikes and enduro without any transformation, through field bikes with elongated swing arms and wheels with shovel-shaped lugs, to road bikes adapted for these impossible climbs, which by the way I do not think they are the most suitable for this task at least in the rise of Andler Schönberg. Of course all of them are divided into junior, ladies, 125, series and special categories.
We can also observe that there are various kinds of brave pilots. Those who, when they finish their climb, are only concerned for their motorcycle so that it does not roll down the hill and those whose main interest is Become safe and not be hit by the motorcycle. Despite the fact that at the beginning of the video the camera is deceiving and there does not seem to be a tilt if you continue to watch it, from the minute six when they change planes you will be able to better appreciate the savage slope they are trying to overcome.
The 2012 edition will be held at the end of August, beginning of September in which again throughout the weekend they will try to reach the top even if it is by launching their motorcycle against the goal.
