Five detainees and more than one hundred motorcycles recovered in Asturias in a police operation that is still open

For several months, a band friends of the alien (to put it finely although I can think of hundreds of less affectionate qualifiers) operated in Asturias and surroundings subtracting motorcycles quite frequently. Something quite surprising because here we have always been quite lucky when it comes to theft. There were only them in a localized way but not so closely and responding to such an organized pattern.

It is also something that has touched me closely since a very good friend of mine suffered it in his flesh since at the end of last year his Yamaha R6 was stolen from the garage during the night, and so on from many other colleagues. Fortunately, the National Police of both Gijón and Avilés and Oviedo They worked together until a couple of days ago they tightened the fence on the alleged thieves.

They have first investigated a workshop in Gijón for its possible involvement in the series of robberies and subsequent sale of stolen parts and then have detained five people and recovered 25 more than 100 motorcycles from several garages located in Avilés and Gijón, in addition to ten kilos of hashish and an undetermined amount of methamphetamine known as crystal or meta. At the moment the police have not given more information about the arrests or about the operation, which is still open and new records are not ruled out as well as more possible detainees.

At least, those of us who have motorcycles will go back to sleep a little more peacefully from now on. And let's hope they hunt down all those responsible and are properly judged. And of course, pay for the crimes committed.
