On a day like today, January 20, twenty-five years ago, I was born Marco Simoncelli. Fate has wanted him not to celebrate it, but of course, it is a special day, and it is always a good time to remember Supersic. There are many tributes that are being paid to him, but I am going to stay with a song that has been dedicated to him. It bears by title Marco piega a 1000 all'ora and the author is Stefano Picchi.
Needless to say, the song has the approval of Marco's relatives. In fact, Stefano has personally given the parents the record of said song to use it as they see fit. Thus, it seems that what is collected from its sales will go to the foundation that bears the name of the pilot and that helps the most disadvantaged children. Now we are going to listen to the song, which is also accompanied by some images that cannot stop moving us.
Of course, we must stay forever with those images, images of Simoncelli smiling (as always) and offering a show in the sport we like the most. I must admit that every time I see these types of videos or photos of him I still cannot believe it, and almost I have not been able to assume that we will not see him again on a motorcycle. It is good that we do not forget him and that we always keep him in mind. Happy birthday Supersic, wherever you are.
