From Andorra, the Country of the Pyrenees, we bring you a visit to this Canillo Motorcycle Museum It has a permanent exhibition, plus other temporary ones, in which we can see emblematic models from the 1900s to the present day. Today they have 150 models as diverse and exclusive as a Diamant of French origin unique in the world because it is a model with a steam engine and a cubic centimeter of displacement, up to the modern KTMs used in the Paris-Dakar raid. by pilot Cyril Després.
Different collectors in the country collaborate with the Canillo Community, which is the equivalent of the City Council, offering their pieces for the enjoyment of all visitors. The exhibition space dates from 2007 and there is a technical committee that decides who has the necessary conditions to exhibit in it. It should be noted that there are no showcases or areas with windows, only cordoned off areas so that really you can see the motorcycles very closely and appreciate every last detail. Speaking with Silvia Amorós, the current head of the museum, she tells us that it is possible to take a guided tour.

Today we can see a extensive collection of trial bikes in which we can find, among others, a Bultaco sidecar. This section pays tribute to the late Andorran trial rider Jonathan Almarcha. Continuing with the museum, we can see BMW models such as the R-42, Moto Guzzi cross, DKW with rotary engine, Ducati sport of one and two cylinders, Triumph Daytona 500, Honda CB 750 Four that will be remembered for being the model that hit the table landing in Europe and marked the beginning of the end of the national motorcycle market, the aforementioned KTM Paris-Dakar models and even a Honda MTX modified to go on snow. For all motor racing fans, a highly recommended visit.
