Ducati has presented its electric bike at the Friedrichshafen Bicycle Show (Germany). Maybe it's just a preview that the Italian brand is working on an electric motorcycle, but for the moment I don't even want to think about it.
The new electric bicycle is the result of a 3-year agreement signed between Ducati Motor Holding and the Italwin Group. Is named City Peral (pearl of the city) and there are versions for both men and women.
They have been in charge of the design between Italwin designers and the Ducati Design Center. The Panasonic signed battery is hidden in the rear of the bike. Reach a top speed of 24 kilometers per hour (Let the Desmosedici tremble) and the commercialization will begin in January 2010.
It will be available in both major bike shops and in the Ducati stores. For those of you who want to see it, it will be on display at the EICMA Motorcycle Show.
