Video: Reasons Why the U.N. is the WORST Organization EVER 2024, March

Well, it is possible that now I have exaggerated a bit, but without a doubt the race that we recall today (already immersed in the race weekend) is without a doubt one of the worst organized in history. We talk about the career of 1999 Nürburging on Superbikes, the oil debacle.

It all started when the rider with the number 15, Jerman (Kawasaki) left the race due to mechanical failure just after the main straight, before the first corner of the German track. The result is that all the oil in the engine is running down the track, and although after Jerman Macias (Ducati) falls, and then the oil stain is revealed to be at the braking point. Great!

There are more accidents and nobody does anything to fix it, there are no flags, there is no responsible organization to disrupt the race to clean up the oil. What were they thinking? This is unthinkable today, no one in their right mind would allow a race to follow when the danger of falling is as evident as shown by the successive drags: Pierre Francesco Chilli, Yanagawa, Noriyuki Haga … until Colin Edwards falls on lap 12, after recovering possible falls on previous laps, and he gets a huge anger.

And it is not for less, race to the garbage by the incompetence of the organization. No wonder then that Edwards decided to sabotage the race by throwing gravel, to see if that way some enlightened one would take out the corresponding flag.

The race was so disastrous that not even blue flags were shown, so it happened that Carl Fogarty wore Krauss, to whom no one showed the blue flag (maybe it was a rag). What a mess…
