Well, there has not been much luck, because the three motorcycles that Yamaha raffled off to commemorate its triple crown in 2009 have gone to countries like those in which it is cold and are not the most famous in the world for their love of motorcycles, Lithuania, Slovakia and Switzerland.
About a month ago the promotion appeared that Yamaha was going to raffle three replicas of the winning motorcycles of 2009, the Valentino Rossi’s Yamaha M1 in the MotoGP World Championship, Ben Spies’s Yamaha R1 in the Superbike World Championship and Cal Crutchlow’s Yamaha R6 in the Supersport World Championship. Punctual there were many of us who took our ballot to the dealerships, but only three were the winners. This sounds like Eurovision to me, where they always win the same awards, but what are we going to do? We will continue riding our motorcycles and admiring these three motor beasts, Valentino, Spies and Crutchlow.
Ah, we still have the "stone" With the commemorative t-shirts, let's see when the official list comes out to see if at least something has touched us there.
