To be honest, reality shows don't interest me in the least, even though I'm hooked on the adventures of American Chopper, I can't stand a minute of other programs like Pekin Express, Fame or Big Brother. This morning, while I was taking a look online, I came across a piece of news on the El País website that commented that Rescue Ink it is going to begin to be broadcast in Spain by the hand of a satellite TV channel. The theme of the program is in my opinion one more twist on the issue of bikers. It turns out that the show is about a group of tattooed bikers who are dedicated to rescuing pets abused by their owners.
There it is. A bunch of uncles of those who have an image of being tough as flint, of those who have breakfast with gasoline and tighten the nuts of their Harley Davidson with their fingers They are dedicated to rescuing dogs abused by their owners, even at some point they have rescued fighting cocks or horses. It is assumed that the members of this rescue team met in tattoo shops, on the roads or in biker rallies.
This part of tough guys is backed by another more discreet and led by a woman specialized in rescues of this type. All of this results in a program that in the United States it has been a season broadcasting and that we will now be able to see in Spain on the National Geographic channel.
I am not going to judge the work that these people do, what if I find it very interesting is that it is shown in this way that behind the image of tough guys of these characters there is a heart "soft" enough to care about animals maltreated. Now we just have to remind them that in addition to these abused animals there are also abused people on a daily basis. Although at the time they taught me that to change something in the world you have to think global and act local, with which some type of benefit has to have this type of actions. Meanwhile we will see a couple of chapters of this series to see how it looks, although I will remain faithful to the adventures of the Teutul.
