It has been a little over a year since the Triumph Street Triple 675 and only a few months since we tested it in Moto 22, now the Hinckley brand presents us with this R version improved in some details. Although almost all are inherited from his sports sister the Daytona. Among the list are the 41mm multi-adjustable inverted front fork, the multi-adjustable rear shock absorber, and 308mm front discs with four-piston radial anchor calipers.

The 675 cc three-cylinder engine remains unchanged with its 106 hp, more than enough as I was able to verify when they loaned me a test unit in April. This R version features a tapered aluminum Magura handlebar that is slightly wider than the normal version. This together with a 5mm taller saddle allows for a better riding position.

The Street Triple 675 R It will go on sale in 2009 in two colors, Matt black with orange graphics and matt orange with gray graphics, which together with the black anodized fork and the two shades of black of the seat makes it even more beautiful if possible. The price is rumored to be around 8200 euros, but I cannot assure it because this data is not official yet, although it will surely be worth it because they have improved a very good bike.

After the jump you can see a video that they have taken in the official presentation to the press, nothing more and nothing less than in the Isle of Man. Of course, with rain and bad weather so as not to lose the habit in that part of the world. Oh, and if you click on the header photo you can see the larger image.
