Tough day today for Dani Pedrosa. The Catalan pilot had ahead of him a test day with the new Bridgestone tires that will fit your RC212V between now and the end of the season. Pedrosa hit the track for the first time at 1pm, doing it for a short six-lap session after which he pitted to make the first adjustments.

From there and until 6.15 p.m. (it was scheduled to end at 6 p.m.) he did not remove his helmet and did not stop trying new solutions. At first Dani went out on track with the same motorcycle with which he raced yesterday in Misano, and set a best time of 1'35.555 seconds, a record that was approaching his fastest race time yesterday, when he clocked 1'35.479 seconds.

Shortly before 5:00 p.m., Dani took to the track for the first time About Honda RC212V with Pneumatic Valve Engine and road with Bridgestone tires. From the first moment, Pedrosa has had positive feelings on the new bike, finally marking on lap 76 of a total of 81 that he has completed on the Italian track, a best time of 1'34.652 sec, 8 tenths faster than his best time in the race yesterday. This record was set by the Repsol Honda Team rider on race tires.

Dani was evidently satisfied after today's training: “It has been a day of many changes and I am satisfied. It has been very hard for me, since we have worked a lot and I have hardly taken my helmet off all the time, but it was necessary, since we did not have much time. Luckily we had sun and we were able to roll well, from less to more, and that is important. We have tried to find one configuration that we like, since the tires are very different and the behavior of the motorcycle changes radically, it looks like another motorcycle. At this point it is difficult to say what I liked the most about these tires, as I do not have much experience yet and we have not tested too many compounds. Simply I have tried to adapt to them, find their limits and know their feelings. I have tried to know if they are good from the beginning, or if you should heat them for more or less time. At the beginning, the first thing you look for is safety, feeling comfortable and seeing how stable the bike is. From there, the most important thing for me is to start looking for the limits and to know the reactions of the tires at certain times. The pneumatic valve motor is very different, something that I am not used to, since it is a little more aggressive and I am not so tactful. It is not that smooth. It has other strengths, although we still have to finish configuring it, because we have more refined the other. I have not done many laps, but the feelings have not been all bad."
