I have seen a piece of news on a motorcycle blog that caught my attention. Well, at the moment it does not reach the news, but a simple rumor that circulates through the paddock like many others. Its about possible signing of Nicky Hayden by Ducati for the next World Cup in 2008.
Apparently seeing Nicky having dinner with some members of the Italian brand in a restaurant in Bologna has further fueled the rumors. The supposed reason for the dinner was to order a Desmosedici RR stradale, but a dinner provides many more topics of conversation …
Presumably the pilot from Kentucky would come to Ducati to fill the position of Loris capirossi. The Italian driver could retire to devote more time to his family, with more reason now for his newborn son Riccardo. Although there is also talk that Loris could sign for Kawasaki replacing Olivier jacque.
